Attempted break in on Lowerhouse Lane.

Good evening,

This is to advise you of an attempted break‑in on Lowerhouse Lane near to The Bottle Shop on Friday evening, 10th April.

The incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 17:30 and 23:30. The offender/s attempted to gain access via the patio doors, which were smashed; however, no entry was gained. It appears they may have climbed over the rear gate to access the property.

We ask that residents in the surrounding area please check any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage during this time for anyone acting suspiciously and report anything relevant.

To help reduce the risk of further incidents, please consider the following precautions:

Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked, particularly patio and rear doors.

Make use of external lighting, especially motion‑sensor lights at the rear of properties.

Check that fences and gates are secure and in good repair.

Keep valuables out of sight from windows and doors.

Report any suspicious behaviour immediately to the police.

Ensure CCTV and doorbell cameras are operational and correctly positioned.
